About Us

Canoe Capital is a long-term home for your business and legacy

Founded and led by one growth-minded entrepreneur, we seek to preserve and extend the legacy you’ve worked hard to build.

We offer liquidity and ownership transition for owners of profitable businesses who:

  • Are seeking a liquidity event to diversify their portfolio or meet other life goals.

  • Desire an ownership succession plan to reduce (or phase out) their involvement in the business.

Meet Nick Rowe

Founder & Partner

Nick approaches entrepreneurship drawing from his experience as advisor, investor, and operator. He spent most of his career working in multi-family offices, where he oversaw the allocation of ~$1.5B of investable assets and helped families navigate decisions at the intersection of wealth and life. From this experience, he is intimately familiar with the role that a business can play in an owner’s personal (and financial) life.

In addition, he brings operational experience and a growth-oriented mindset from the hospitality technology industry. At Airbnb in San Francisco, he helped to develop and expand the platform for hotels. And working for Asia’s largest hotel chain, he drove the market entry and expansion strategy for the United States and led competitive insights.

Through these experiences, Nick brings an analytical mindset combined with a human-centered approach.

Nick holds an MBA from INSEAD, France and a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Claremont McKenna College.

In his free time, Nick enjoys road cycling, scuba diving, and cooking for family and friends. Nick currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Anusha.
